Advanced Data Analytics & Tracking
Data You
Can Trust.
If your analytics isn't configured correctly, you are flying blind. We implement advanced Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) infrastructures to track real business value—revenue, leads, and engagement—not just vanity metrics.
GA4 Event Tracking
GA4 is event-based, not session-based. We configure custom events to track exactly what matters: Form Submissions, File Downloads, Video Plays, and Scroll Depth. No more generic "Pageview" data.
Tag Manager (GTM)
We install a central "brain" for your website. GTM allows us to handle conversion tracking setup and deploy marketing tags (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight) instantly without touching your website's source code or risking a crash.
E-commerce Data Layer
For online stores, standard tracking isn't enough. We code a custom "Data Layer" that passes precise revenue, tax, and shipping data to GA4, ensuring your ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) calculations are 100% accurate.
The Integration Flow.
From code to dashboard.
Data Audit
We check your current setup. Are you double-counting users? Is cross-domain tracking breaking between your site and checkout? We identify the "Data Leaks."
GTM Container
We configure triggers and variables in Google Tag Manager. We set up logic: "Only fire the 'Purchase' tag when the user lands on the Thank You page."
Server-Side Tagging
To bypass ad-blockers and iOS privacy restrictions, we can set up Server-Side GTM. This moves tracking from the user's browser to a secure cloud server.
Looker Studio
GA4 is hard to read. We build you a custom Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) dashboard that visualizes your KPIs in plain English: "Cost Per Lead," "Total Sales," etc.
Connected Ecosystem.

Common Questions
Why don't my GA4 and backend numbers match?
This is usually due to "Attribution Models" or cookie consent. GA4 models data to fill in gaps. We can configure your settings to closer match your actual bank deposits.
Do I need GTM if I have a plugin?
Yes. Plugins are limited. GTM gives you total control to add custom scripts (like a Chat Widget or a specific ad pixel) without needing a developer every time.
Common reasons to fix GA4 data
When clients ask us to fix GA4 data, the property was usually set up in a hurry and never checked against real orders or leads. The usual findings:
- Double counting. A plugin and a hard-coded tag both send page views, or a purchase fires again whenever the thank-you page is reloaded.
- Payment self-referrals. PayPal or a card processor appears as the source of your sales because its domain was never added to the list of unwanted referrals.
- Internal traffic. Staff visits and your own testing counted as customers.
- Short retention. Event data retention left at the default two months, which limits exploration reports later.
- Missing results. Form submissions and phone clicks not marked as key events, so reports show traffic but not outcomes.
What GA4 migration means today
Universal Analytics no longer processes data and its historical reports have been removed, so there is nothing left to import. A GA4 migration today usually means moving tracking from scattered plugins and hard-coded snippets into one Google Tag Manager container, or rebuilding a messy property around a clear event plan.
E-commerce tracking that matches your orders
For ecommerce tracking we send the standard GA4 events, from viewing an item through adding to cart and checkout to purchase, each purchase with a unique transaction ID so duplicates are ignored. We then compare a week of GA4 revenue with the orders in your store. Some difference is normal because of consent choices and ad blockers; a large gap points to a tagging fault.
Is server-side tagging worth it?
Server-side tagging moves tags from the visitor's browser to a tagging server on your own subdomain. It can make pages lighter and gives you control over what data reaches each vendor, but it adds a server to run and pay for, and it does not replace consent: visitors' privacy choices still apply. For many small businesses a clean browser-side setup is enough.

What GA4 tracking setup services should deliver
GA4 tracking setup services should end with numbers you can check against real orders and leads. A GA4 setup service from us starts with an event plan: which form submissions, phone clicks and purchases count as key events, which referrals such as payment providers must be excluded, and how internal traffic is filtered out. Tags are then deployed through one Google Tag Manager container instead of scattered plugins.
GA4 measures engagement time on its own, so extra timers are rarely needed. Where a report does call for one, a Google Tag Manager GA4 timer trigger can send an event at a set interval while a visitor stays on a page; it should be named clearly so it is not confused with GA4's own engagement metrics.
