Payment and Shipping Integration
Checkout and fulfillment are where most store problems cost real money: failed payments, wrong shipping rates and staff printing labels by hand. We work with Magento, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and custom stores, using official plugins where they are good enough and custom API code where they are not.
- Payment gateway integration – Stripe and PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, subscriptions and webhooks.
- Shipping API integration – live carrier rates, batch labels and tracking updates.
- ERP & inventory sync – keep stock and orders consistent across channels.
We test every payment method and shipping rule with test orders before launch and hand over a short checklist for your staff.
Where checkout and fulfillment usually break
Whichever e-commerce solution you run, the problems we are asked to fix are rarely exotic. A payment method works on desktop but not in a mobile wallet, shipping fees are calculated from the wrong package weight, or orders reach the warehouse without the delivery option the customer chose. Each one quietly costs sales or margin until someone traces it back to the integration.
- Checkout process. Too many steps, forced account creation, or address validation that rejects real addresses. We simplify the flow and test it on phones as well as desktops.
- Payment methods. Cards, digital wallets, pay-later options and invoices for business buyers, each switched on only where your payment provider and platform support it properly.
- Shipping providers and delivery options. Live carrier rates, flat rates, local delivery or store pickup, with rules for oversized and heavy items so the rate shown matches the label you print.
- Order fulfillment. Orders passed automatically to your shipping software or third-party warehouse, with tracking numbers sent back to the store and to the customer.
What to prepare
Admin access to the store, access to your payment and shipping accounts (or someone who can create API keys for us), your current shipping rules, and typical box sizes and weights. The complaints customers and staff raise most often point to the real problem fastest.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a payment gateway and a merchant account?
The gateway carries online payments securely from your checkout to the card networks, and the merchant account is where the money lands before it is paid out to your bank. Many modern providers bundle both, which keeps things simple for a small store.
Can my store show live shipping rates at checkout?
Usually yes, through the carrier's API or a shipping platform. Live rates are only as accurate as your product weights and dimensions, so we check that data before switching them on.
Do I need to worry about PCI compliance?
Every business that accepts cards is expected to meet PCI DSS, and most small stores confirm it with a self-assessment questionnaire. Using the payment provider's hosted fields or payment page keeps card numbers off your server, which makes that job much smaller.
How long does it take to add a payment or shipping integration?
A supported plugin with standard settings is a small job. Custom rules, several carriers or a warehouse connection take longer, mostly because every combination has to be tested with real orders.
