Logistics Automation & API Integration
Ship Faster.
Error-Free.
Logistics is the backbone of e-commerce. We replace manual data entry with powerful API integrations. Connect your store directly to carriers like FedEx and UPS to automate rating, labeling, and tracking in milliseconds.
Real-Time Live Rates
Stop losing money on shipping. We connect your checkout directly to carrier APIs (FedEx, UPS, DHL) to pull live, dimensionally-weighted rates based on the customer's exact address and cart contents.
Label Automation
No more copy-pasting addresses into a carrier's website. We integrate tools like ShipStation or Shippo to generate batch shipping labels with one click directly from your order dashboard.
Auto-Sync Tracking
Keep customers informed. Once a label is printed, our integration automatically writes the tracking number back to the store and triggers a "Shipped" email to the customer instantly.
The Workflow.
From checkout to doorstep.
API Configuration
We secure your API credentials from carriers (FedEx/UPS) and configure the "handshake" between your server and their logistics network.
Box Packing Logic
We set up intelligent algorithms. "If cart contains item A and B, fit them into Box Size C." This ensures the quoted shipping rate is accurate to the penny.
Rule Automation
We program logic rules: "If order value > $100, offer Free Ground Shipping." "If destination is Canada, require Phone Number for Customs."
Testing & Launch
We run test shipments in a staging environment to verify that labels print correctly and rates are accurate before going live with real packages.

Common Questions
Can I offer "Free Shipping over $50"?
Yes. We configure "Cart Price Rules" that dynamically check the subtotal and automatically apply a free shipping method if the criteria are met.
Does this support Dropshipping?
Absolutely. We can route orders to different fulfillment centers or vendors based on which product was purchased, splitting the order automatically.
UPS API setup and the move to OAuth
Carriers have been replacing their older developer interfaces. UPS moved its APIs to OAuth 2.0 authentication, FedEx replaced its older web services with REST APIs, and USPS has been retiring its Web Tools APIs in favor of a new platform. Stores still running an old shipping plugin can suddenly lose rates or labels when a legacy connection is switched off. A current UPS API setup means creating an app in the UPS developer portal under your shipping account, storing the credentials on the server and requesting access tokens as needed. We run the same review for every carrier you use.
Real-time shipping rates that match the label
Real-time shipping rates are calculated from the address, the weight and the package dimensions, and the quote at checkout is only as good as that data. Common reasons it differs from what you are billed:
- Dimensional weight. A light but bulky box is billed by size, so products need realistic dimensions, not placeholders.
- Packing. Several items combined into one box, or split across two, change the price.
- Address type. Business and residential deliveries are priced differently, and address validation decides which applies.
- Account rates. Your negotiated rates appear only when the connection uses your own carrier account.
ShipStation automation
ShipStation automation rules assign the carrier, service, package type and declared value to incoming orders by weight, destination, value or product, so staff only confirm and print. We set product defaults, map store shipping methods to carrier services, and check that tracking numbers and the shipped status flow back to the store.
WooCommerce shipping setup
A WooCommerce shipping setup is built from shipping zones, methods and classes. Zones decide which methods a customer sees, and classes let bulky or hazardous items carry their own rules. Carrier rate plugins or a shipping platform sit on top, and each combination is tested with real addresses taken from your order history.

What shipping API integration services cover
Shipping API integration services connect the store, the carriers and the people who pack orders. A shipping connector for FedEx and UPS is usually the first piece: live rates at checkout from your own carrier accounts, labels created from the order screen and tracking numbers written back to the store. Shipping system integration then extends the same data to ShipStation or Shippo, so automation rules assign carrier, service and package type before staff print.
Shipping data integration only works if products carry realistic weights and dimensions and addresses are validated. Carriers also change their interfaces: UPS moved to OAuth 2.0, FedEx to REST APIs, and USPS has been retiring its Web Tools APIs. A simple shipping API monitor, such as a daily test rate request that alerts you when it fails, shows a broken connection before customers notice missing rates. Whatever shipping software API you use, each carrier connection is reviewed the same way.
Planning a shipping connection for your store
Store owners often just ask for a ship integration: orders should leave the building without anyone retyping an address. Before configuration starts, it helps to gather:
- the carrier accounts you ship with, so checkout can show your negotiated rates;
- realistic weights and box dimensions for your products;
- the rules you already follow by hand, such as free shipping thresholds or which vendor fulfills which product;
- a few real addresses from past orders to test with.
With that ready, rates, labels and rules can be tested in a staging environment before real packages go out.
