Many office copiers and multifunction printers have an internal drive that keeps images of scanned, copied and faxed documents, and the FTC has published guidance urging businesses to deal with it before a copier is returned or sold. No. In California computers, monitors, TVs, phones and batteries cannot go in regular trash or construction dumpsters. They have to be separated from general junk and sent to an authorized e-waste collector or recycler.
Do we have to remove the network cabling when we leave?
It depends on the lease. Some landlords want cabling left in place for the next tenant, others require it removed. Check the move-out terms before the last day and let us know which applies.
